Harley Hamm is the archetype of Country! With a cross between “country gentleman charm” and “Good old country boy swagger” plus a healthy dose of talent, Harley seems like a character plucked from a Tom Clancy novel. Harley belongs on stage like a fish belongs in water! Combining soul filled, Blues and Funk fusion, with a, Country rock flair, Harley is as original as he is awesome! His favorite tag line is, “Let’s get funky” and that’s exactly what happens! Harley’s music is a, toe-tappin, rockin, blast! And when the music starts you have no choice, but to get a little…Well, “funky” and have a good old time!

In 2014 Harley released an album titled “The Tribute” as a tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan. Hamm said Vaughan has had a significant musical influence on his life since childhood. In Harley’s words-

“I liked the way he played, the way he dressed and sang! Growing up in my music career, people were always telling me that I reminded them of him. And I can emulate him pretty close in my playing.”

Harley’s “Vaughn” impersonation began while playing a Halloween gig in 2009.

“There was a booking agent in the crowd who said I ought to think about doing it professionally,” Hamm said. “He said, ‘I feel like I’m watching Stevie Ray Vaughan.’ So I pursued it and have been doing it ever since.”

But don’t make the mistake of thinking impersonations are all that Harley has up his sleeve! Harley’s performance at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame was as unforgettable and unique as he is!”
